I agree that you should be prepared for more fireworks. I would definitely have a response prepared for him, something like "Coach, I understand what you are saying but previous games are ancient history. Let's play tonights game". Keep him focused on that evenings contest.
Any comments about previous games and he gets the back of my head as I walk away. Also, I would only say this once to him.
I also agree with the previous comment about getting one of your partners to deal with him if he has been successful in the past.
Unfortunately, this may be a situation where you can't win.
