Cool

I did my first (HS) game Friday night, and I had this happen to me. The home team coaches was standing every time I noticed the benches. I was the lead at half court overing a fullcourt press. My partner was trail putting the ball in play alone the endline. I nearly ran over the home team coaches; without thinking I told the head coach, " Coach you guys have to be sitted the clock is running." On the first time out, the head coach went to my partner, questioning what I had told him. My partner came to me and asked, if I had told the coaches they could not stand and coach. I replied, " Yes!" My partner then said, the coaches could stand as long as they were not yelling at us or making a seen and as long as they were in the coaches box. I told my partner, all bench personnel must be sitted when the clock is running. And, there were provisions in the rules stating when the coach could stand. I could careless what the coach think. I don't have my rule book with me, but was I right or wrong? HELP!
