You might not feel good about it, but that's what you have to do. If you can't get your partner to pick it up (and maybe he's just not good enough to pick it up), then you just have to call your game and get through it. If your partner is not "calling the obvious", you may want to neglect some off-ball coverage in your primary in order to grab the obvious stuff. But other than that, you have to get what's in front of you and, really, what else could you do?
