The question wasn't meant to be an indictment for asking questions. I just wanted to be sure that you have access to one. Also, get a Case Book. Many of the plays that you'll come across can be found in the Case Book.
Read and study your rule book every night before you go to bed. Try to see how the rules affect a play, rather than just reading it. You should be able to get through it within a couple of weeks. Pay special attention to Rule 4, Definitions. If you don't have a basic understanding of the Definitions, you'll have trouble understanding the game. Most of the information about violations is found under Rule 9. Feel free to ask questions about what you don't understand.
