We do the same in northern VA. Freshman @ 4:00, JV @ 5:30, and V @ 7:00 or 7:30. If it is boys night at home, the girls are usually at the opponents school. Some nights we have G/B varsity double headers. Because of the number of schools we work (about 65-70) a varsity official might do a freshman game at one school and a varsity game at another. On occassions, the varsity official will do the freshman game, observe the JV game, and work the varsity game. Either way, it makes for a long night. It is extemely rare that I don't work a double-header of some type, and it can be either boys or girls (we have 1 scholastic assignor).
