THANK YOU to both of you gentlemen. Together, your replies are clear, responsive and educational. I understand the principle, feel comforable with using it on the diamond, and I will be alert for the occassion. I have printed this thread and will keep it in my equipment bag, not as a page from the "bible", but as excellent instruction on how to handle a rather difficult play.
