I agree 100%, jicecone. The net is invaluable. In the two years that I have been participating on this board, I have learned an enormous amount in both baseball and softball. All the case books and clinics in the world could not have imparted as much information.
I also enjoy communicating with umpires who care about calling plays correctly and want to learn as much as possible. Surprisingly, most of the umps I know are not really interested.
