Looks like a shorthanded situation. The offense takes an out for that and any subsequent at bat(s).
As long as that does not take the batting order below 8. |
Close. Assuming B was awarded first base on the hit-by-pitch, the previous batter not on base is allowed to replace her as a temporary runner until she is put out, scores, or the half-inning ends.
