Is there any way a parent can go about protesting a refs ruling on a match? For instance you have on tape a clear shot of a wrestler being called pinned when it is clear he was not. some help on this please!

The only protest allowed is for a rules misapplication. Such as, failure to grant choice, improper position for a restart, etc....
A fall (pin) is a judgement call which can not be protested. The location, if out of bounds, may be.
The only person allowed to protest is the coach in the corner at the time. Parents & coaches in the stands my not come down to protest. Nor can they protest from the floor unless they are the coach.

If you have concerns about the referee, then approach the Head Official. The large majority of officials are fair and work hard. Many youth officials are just starting out and need time to learn how to officiate. It take about 3 years to truly learn how to be a referee.
In short, if it was a judgement issue, you're stuck with the call.
If it is a rules application issue, then you better know the rule and be able to make your case calmly and civilly.
