During the Nevada State Wrestling Championships, an official blew an obvious takedown at the end of regulation time. It was very apparent that the referee missed the call and did not award the takedown points to wrestler. The opponent of this young man won by one point to take the State Championship. There is a history between this official and the coaches from this young man's school, and there does appear to be some bias against this young man because of his coaches.
Is there anything that can be done. On tape, it clearly shows at least two errors, one costing this young man the match, and the State title. Do wrestlers have any recourse than to follow the bad judgement of a last-second no-call. your thoughts.
