R2 and lineup card
According to the NFHS, are line-up cards still required by the R2? Case book says may, rules book says "shall".

When working NFHS matches, I just grab some scrap paper to write the lineup down, check the lineup, then don't touch the paper again until the next set, when I repeat. |
This week, our high school regional supervisor advised us that line-up cards were mandatory. It was my understanding that the NFHS changed this quite a few years ago and made it a "tool" for the R2, not a requirement.

We use the submitted lineups.
