RC, you read too much into it.

Since an illegal server was used they lose all the points scored for that service, and since the proper server was now in ther RB position, there was no need to put them in prper order.

Now, if there was a side out, and the other team served, then you are right they would all stand, at that point the "statute of limitations" has run out.
