Since it seems there are many new officials, and I would like to see more on this board, I'll lob some questions out to the newbies to see how the studying is going.
S1 serves three points. Coach R calls TO. Coach S realizes that S2 should be the proper server, so after the time out S2 goes back to serve, and serves three more points. At this point the freshman keeping the book tells you, the umpire, that S1 was an improper server at the beginning of the term of service.
What is the proper way to handle this?
