Red face

I just finished reading the article on page 10 & 11 of the fall issue. The article had some very good points and it was worth reading. However (and there is a always however in life) the pictures that were used is a poor examples of professionalism. The first picture has the official with her shirt hanging out. The second picture has the official calling a out call and her mechanics are ver weak at best. If the third picture if she is calling a time out then I have nothing to say but if she is calling a touch on a ball that has landed out, then this is not good example. Non volleyball people should not be picking pictures for a sport that they know nothing about.

Hi bandit,
I am a newcomer to volleyball. I have done soccer and basketball but dropped soccer this year. Some of my basketball friends were really encouraging me to add volleyball, so in two weeks I will be going to classes here in the Seattle area and then doing some youth leagues, getting ready for high school in the fall. Are you aware of any other publications or training items like we have in my other sports?
p.s. I promise to keep my shirt tucked in.
