We got pretty good mileage out of the white polo shirt thread. Let's see how this does? What kind of shoes do you wear when officiating? I used Reebok walkers until this season, but I'll use my Nike Air Monarchs -- same ones I use for basketball starting in a couple of weeks.

I use Avia.
I did not like them for basketball (not enough support when running), but they're fine for working volleyball.

For HS, a pair of Dr. Scholl's shoes with the gel heel.

For all other rulesets, a regular white pair with a nice set of inserts. Inserts can be your friends when you're working 10-12 matches a day...

Thumbs up

F Madera,
Have you ever used the Dr. Scholl's Memory Foam inserts? I used them until I started using orthotics. They are great! B. Taylor

New Balance!

They're the only sports shoes I can regularly find in the extra-wide widths my fat feet require.

I found a pair of Turntecs one year in EEE width but I've not seen that brand since.

Nike and Reebok and most others persist in only making D width shoes unless you are one of the elite athletes they custom fit shoes for.

Homer,
Actually the Nike Air Monarchs II do come in a wide width as well as medium. They come in a EE but I don;t think any wider.

I have Asics walking shoes that are wide also. Nice cushioning and comfortable.
