When a 3rd hit contacts ceiling or overhead obstruction on same teams side of net, what is the proper call and signal. Fed book dosent say anywhere that I can find. Thanks.

A live ball becomes dead when "the ball contacts the ceiling or an overhead obstruction after the third hit" : Rule 9-3-3-d

The signal isn't specified, but most officials use the OOB signal (#14). If the coach or captain gives you an inquisitive look, simply point at the ceiling.......
