Numbers on shorts

NCAA 7.1.2.3 states: If numbers are worn on the bottoms, the number on the bottoms must be the same as the number on the jersey.

Does NFHS have a similar requirement? I had a libero yesterday whose number on the jersey didn't match the number on his shorts.

Yes. It is the same in NFHS.

Thanks, guys. I actually found a FED book and found it myself. I'm seeing this team again next week and I'll point it out to the coach. I'm betting it's a situation in which the player has a regular player jersey with a different number that actually does match the shorts. But when he switches to Libero, he no longer matches.
