shirts
Worked with a fellow ref the other day. At the pregame he made the following comments:
1. Ok girls, shirts- must all be tucked in or all left out (referring to the entire team). 2. If during the game he sees midrif, he's going to issue a yellow card. 3. At the start of match, only the 6 starters are allowed to assemble on the back line, then approach the net on whistle to shake hands. #3 sounds correct, but I never thought of it. Thanks in advance |

Sounds a wee bit over-officious to me.

What ruleset were you using? USAV? Did you talk about it post-match? I'd like to hear the rationale for requiring all jerseys to be worn the same way. I would definitely question my partner about issuing a card if a player's midriff is exposed.
