Ok, if we're playing that - the rule doesn't say hinder, it says impede. Had they not carried her, she would have stayed in the batters box. They impeded her ability to stay in one place. Hypopathetical... Pitcher and catcher lift the runner, carry her to first, second, and then at third don't lower her enough to touch third, and then carry her home. And then appeal the miss at 3rd. :) :) :) |
