No, the mess was when there was a bases loaded triple play with a run scoring. It went something like:

Throw home for one, to first for two, back to home (runner safe), then down to third for the third out of the inning.

The umpires made me proud as they were in position for every call.

Thumbs up

WOW, base loaded triple play and one run. Defense
and umpires had to be on their toes. Have never
witnessed a triple play. Had to be impressive.

Like I said, I was proud of my umpires. Even a couple of players kicked back thinking the play was over. That's how the run scored. The catcher backed off into foul territory and here comes the runner and the ball. She was shocked, but the umpire set up to see a possible tag.

Two umpire system and the umpires were on top of each call.

What I usually do is:
1)at the pre-game is inform the coaches that I will keep the official time on my watch.
2) announce the game time when the catcher throws to second in top of the first and make sure both scorekeepers have the correct starting time.
3) every two innings give them what my watch is showing and how much time is left
