Compression shorts with cup pouch-not pocket

Hey, I need a new pair.

Does anyone have a recommendation? I much prefer the kind with the floating pouch instead of the pocket.

Buy a regular pair, then put the Banana style cup in a sock. Loop the top of the sock over the elastic waist band of the compression shorts.

Only way to go. People think I am crazy until they try it once, then they only use this method.

That's the best way to go. Compression shorts/boxers and a banana cup inside a moisture wicking ankle sock. That's the only cup that really "cups" your boys.

Even if I did try it (which I won't), I will always think you are crazy.

My recommendation is the Shock Doctor. It has an internal pocket, and the cup never moves.

Another good thing about using the sock is that you can change it out every game if you want. It's always good to make sure you start each game with a good set of balls.

I will take exception to this part.

I have the Shock Doctor shorts, but I have found that my cup sometimes has a tendency to turn sideways. That's a bit uncomfortable when you go set for the pitch.....

I've had that issue with other compression shorts (as an example: UA while using the SD bio-flex cup), but I have not had that issue with the Shock Doctors. Once I place it, it stays.

I dare say that you have too large of a size .

I have the same problem.....I have to wear a second (lighter) pair of compression shorts over the Shock Doctor shorts to prevent the cup from turning.

I will try Shock Doctor. I found them on Amazon.

I will not try the sock because it sounds moronic.

It may sound moronic, but it works. There are many things that sound dumb the first time you hear it until you try it and see it is not too bad. As ESQ, said, in spite of being he most reviled person on this board since it's inception, Being able to change the sock is much better than wearing the same compression shorts with a built in pocket all day long.

I've found that the shorts with the pocket let the cup shift too much. I went to a separate underarmour jock underneath a pair of tights.

Bullfighters first rodeo?

Cut the cup pocket off an old jock with torn straps before you trash the leftover waistband and straps. Wash the pocket and use the cup in pocket combo as directed. Measure the advantages yourself, such as cleaner, more comfortable, used more often, time, money, etc.
