Question? I was the PU, utrip. We had spectator interference via a player for a team to play next game warming up in the outfield. This is a city league therefore there is no room elswhere and this has been a common practice for years. (maybe we need to look at this but..) We have a fly ball to left and the fielder is tracking the ball and imo had a better than average shot at making the catch (one never knows until it's done). Also, runner on first. The fielder while tracking the ball and very close to it collides with the player warming and the ball falls. I declare the br out, explaining that I believe the fielder would have caught the ball had no interference occured and we keep the runner on first. All players agreed, no arguments, but I'm curious if this was the correct call. Comments please.

Paul
