Well, I'm finally back with both feet on the ground from having attended the ASA National Advanced Fastpitch Clinic held last week in Waxahachie, TX. It was well worth the time and expense to get there.

Being from Texas, I was just glad it wasn't too hot for those coming in from the Far Northwest and Northeast, could have been much worse. Overall, got to meet and work with some great instructors as well as umpires on the field during the 18U Gold Qualifier that was held at the end of the Camp.

The Ellis County Umpire Association, the City of Waxahachie, other volunteers and James Villarreal went out of their way to take care of us during our stay and are to be commended for hosting such a great clinic and tournament!!!!
