Talking

I was working a game the other day with this sitch.
Batter hits a fly down the right field line behind first base by about 10 feet, and it lands about 6 inches foul.
I call foul ball.
The first base coach goes ballistic, "It hit the line, I saw chalk flying."
My partner calmly took the coach out to the grass, kicks the grass and says, "Look Coach, this is paint, no chalk out here."
The coach then says, "well I still saw chalk fly."

???
And these guys can call every pitch that we miss at the plate from the dugout!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to figure out if we should stop criticizing the coaches and think about the league and tournament committees, whoever selects or accepts the coaches and should provide some training. Maybe even parents.
