I know I should know this, even though it doesn't concern me. I was playing on my rec league softball team. Bases loaded, batter hits R2 as he is going to 3B. How do you score this? I was looking at Rule 11 in the ASA book but couldn't find it. Thanks.

Would that be scored as a fielder's choice?

scoring

In ASA, it used to be scored a base hit, and still is in some other associations, but in ASA it's now a fielder's choice.

I know the hitter gets credit with a fielder's choice, but how do you score the put out to the runner?

Probably "6UA" in your case, crediting the unassisted putout to the fielder closest to where the interference/"hit by batted ball" occurred. In Official Baseball Rules, it is Rule 10.10; I know of no other baseball or softball organizations which differ.
