Mike,

Do you umpire just slow or do you also do Fast? I saw that you were ISF and were wondering in what classification.

I do some slow, lots of fast, and some modified.

Every seen modified?

This questions was not directed at me, but I did a modified league and it was great. If you have a chance, do it.

My ISF Certification is of the Slow Pitch discipline. I worked some FP for a little while, and will still do so if absolutely necessary.

However, I prefer SP for the action. I've watched the modified game, but we just cannot get players to buy into it in Northern Delaware.

We have relatively lazy players in this area. It's like pulling teeth to get a line-up card, they don't want to run the bases when they hit a home run, they expect neighborhood plays, etc. I ask them why they even bother to play the game, let's just flip a coin and go home!

Of course, they all talk like they are "A" & "B" players until it comes to States and all of a sudden, they are all "D" players and ***** when classified any higher.
