I was looking for something else related to softball and wound up in this site. I was particularly interested in women's world series comments and all the ones I had were addressed. From announcing to the removed helmet non-call and the stiffness of the base umpires. Only one umpire seemed to squeeze the pitcher IMHO and that was in game 14.
One of the announcers even mentioned it. I was really bummed out at not seeing the final live. I even e-mailed Sharon Cessna in the NCAA office, she handles Division 1 softball. She replied this morning to my e-mail. Some people think that Roger Clemens potential 300 career victory was more important. They could have cut-away to it when he won the game. We don't need to see the whole game to know he won it. NHREF58 NCAA, NHFS, ASA

Well...allow me to be the first to welcome you aboard, NHREF58.
As for the Clemens deal, I must admit that, while I am an avid BoSox and Yankee hater, I watched the game through the fifth inning, where it became apparent that he wasn't going to get number 300.
