I was looking for something else related to softball and wound up in this site. I was particularly interested in women's world series comments and all the ones I had were addressed. From announcing to the removed helmet non-call and the stiffness of the base umpires. Only one umpire seemed to squeeze the pitcher IMHO and that was in game 14.
One of the announcers even mentioned it. I was really bummed out at not seeing the final live. I even e-mailed Sharon Cessna in the NCAA office, she handles Division 1 softball. She replied this morning to my e-mail. Some people think that Roger Clemens potential 300 career victory was more important. They could have cut-away to it when he won the game. We don't need to see the whole game to know he won it. NHREF58 NCAA, NHFS, ASA |

Well...allow me to be the first to welcome you aboard, NHREF58.
As for the Clemens deal, I must admit that, while I am an avid BoSox and Yankee hater, I watched the game through the fifth inning, where it became apparent that he wasn't going to get number 300.
