(ASA) I'm aware of the rule that if the offense has equipment in the field of play and it interfers the result is a dead ball and the player whom is being played on is out.
Does that include the bat from the original hit? In this case no one from the offense picked up the bat so when the throw came in it hit the bat. Glen G
