My question was with Fed. I know the rule for ASA and NCAA, it's very clear. I just don't see anything other than intentionally hitting the bat in the rule book in fed.

Then you keep ignoring 7-3-6 and the case book play mentioned by Sam C. above. The batter is responsible for discarding the bat so that it does not interfer with a fielder playing a batted ball.

My reference to ASA POE 23 was the response received from our intrepreter about NFHS and ASA.
In spite of my earlier personal opinions (May 2nd, 2003 10:21 AM and May 3rd, 2003 03:32 PM); I will abide by it being interference until I hear otherwise, so I guess we all should.
