Had a question tonight from an umpire who works NCAA ball concerning the "new" rule as it pertains to a runner leaving early.
If there are two outs, why would it be a DDB? What more can the defense attain when there are two outs and any runner leaves early?

I'm betting that suggested "tweak" doesn't happen.

WHY are you using logic and reason in reference to NCAA rules? |

However, I still would like to see them tweak it - tweak it out of the book!!!! |

But, until there is no swing, how would anyone know what options there are? Not saying I love the rule, just saying what is possible.

And as we are seeing, it seems to be a bit blurry as opposed to a clean cut black and white rule. We will see.
