State:_____AZ__________

Varsity (2-Man) Game Fee:__$35.00 ea________

J.Varsity (2-Man) Game Fee:_$30.00 ea_______

Assignment Fee: Either $____

Or % ________

All JV and V HS games are assigned by the state. There is no assignment fee. I am in the greater Phoenix area, we get $5.00 mileage for any game in the metro area. For JV games, mileage is paid at the game site, for V games, mileage is sent in a check at the end of the season. Outside of Phoenix and Tucson, mileage is paid on a per mile basis, I am not sure of the exact amount.

In the more populated areas of the state, fees are significantly higher - as are the number of games. Oh, we do not get milage for any level. I'm in north central Pa - about 35 miles from Williamsport - for those who know LL.

In Central Il......

$35 to $45 Varsity (2 Person)
$30 to $45 J.V. (2 Person)

Most umpires book their own games.
Never been paid Mileage in High School.
No idea what % of gate means(The schools we work don't charge admission).

Minnesota:
Varsity: $50-55 (2 man) No mileage
JV: $30-40 (1 man)
no assignment fee - but umpires pay a fee of $25-40 per season to join an association. I belong to 2 of them.

scott,
You should, by UIL assessment be getting 34.5 Cents a mile.
The % of gate is based on amount collected at gate. Up to
150.00 is 5.00, 150 to 300 is 10, and so on. In my 16 inning
game, there were over 500 in attendance. Most of my games are in
the 60 mile range one way. I work out of three chapters and never
do my local school. We pay 25.00 chapter fees and whatever TASO
requires. 50.00 I think. For varsity tournaments we get 27.00 per game
w/o travel. I do like Steve's and mistza's figures.

Game Fees

State - Kentucky

Fees - Usually we are assigned a V/JV DH - Fee is $80 per 7 inn./5 inn. game. If we work two 7 inn. games - fee is $95.

Assigning fee (per season) - $40.

These can vary by region, as the policy board has the power to pay higher fees, but the baseball fees can me no more than $5.00 above the softball.
