I heard today that Merle Butler resigned on Monday from the ASA National Staff. Can I get a confirmation somewhere?

Don't think so,
I had heard some stuff about Henry Pollard possibly resigning but he is still in full swing and saying "Ooot" or good ball/bad ball.
I have not heard anything about Merle resinging at all.

Here in IL we just had Henry for a state umpires meeting. He didnt seem to show any signs of resinging. As for the Merle thing iv'e heard some stuff but just rumors.
