I was behind the plate in Fed. ball with one out and a runner on first.The batter hits a grounder to shortstop and the s.s. takes it runs to second steps on the bag and then double clutches and doesn't throw to first.My partner kills it and yells interference saying the s.s. couldn't make a throw because the runner was coming towards her without sliding.I'm not saying he was wrong I just want to be sure other people make that call.
