ASA July 2011 Plays and Clarifications
 

ASA released its July 2011 Plays and Clarifications, touching on a few of the things brought up here.

Yeah, still disagree with the errant throw interpretation. It rewards the team creating the problem through poor play and defeats the purpose of the bags existence.

Of course, if they would get rid of the damn thing I wouldn't complain. :D

It was interesting to see the "errant throw/double base" interpretation, apparently spurred by my email to KR earlier this summer.

What they published is the same thing he sent me in his reply back in June. I was kind of hoping that he'd change his mind after he had some time to think about it! :D
