Most of it...Killeans Irish Red....and I had it in a glass too.........so it was pretty much a flood. I unplugged everything fairly quick, flipped the laptop over on a towel until is seemed pretty dry and then layed it up on its side and let a fan blow on it all night.
I pretty much figured I was screwed.....but much to my amazement, it started for me this morning. Luckily......I had four more beers in the fridge. But never again will I set a glass down on the left side of this desk. Gonna use a little night stand from now on. Joel |

Don't worry, he didn't.

I could be wrong.......so maybe you have a good ale or lager (or any other beer for that matter) to recommend......and you have to remember......It has to be something that can be purchased at many places. Not too many specialty stores around where I frequent.
This thread has now officially been highjacked. Joel |

I can't help but notice that you said "like" instead of "love."
I love Leinie's Red.

Bah. That's 'cause you're a cheesehead. A bit watery for me. Besides, it's a lager and I prefer ales. I don't know about TX, but these on my list you can definitely get the next time you're in WI. My favorite regional right now is "Two Hearted Ale" (an IPA) out of Kalamazoo, Michigan. A close second is "Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale" out of Cleveland. Both of these should be available at liquor stores throughout the Midwest, at least. My local standby is Summit Extra Pale Ale (St. Paul, MN). If you're an ale man, it is not quite up to the first two, but still very drinkable and a bit less bitter.

Actually, I consider Killian's to be watery compared to Leinie's.

Open the link, send shortcut to desktop, drag shortcut down to the left side of the task bar. That's the XP version.

Aha! We do get Summit Extra Pale Ale! This was my wife's favorite until I brought home Stone Ruination. Now, I have to keep the fridge stocked with enough Ruination for us both!
