NCAA softball games

Last year there was a load of whining about the umpires calling fast pitches in the regionals and world series. I also know there was fallout in the umpire staff for the NCAA about it.

I haven't had much chance to watch the games so far. Has there been many illegal pitches called? Or have the pitchers cleaned up their act?
