Little touchy, are we? I didn't say anything about anyone in Texas, but you seem to think I did. But are you gonna deny those from the great Republic of Texas don't have a tendency to do things THEIR way?

And where did the "floridian" come from? Did the state of Florida finally reclaim L.A.?

Destin is still in Lower Alabama, but they think like the peninsula.

Last I checked, Destin was in Florida...............I love Aladamnbama.......they know how to make grits and bbq.........and I got stopped by the Al Highway patrol .......and they were the most proffessional cops I ever ran into (except for Illinois)......

I have a lady friend in Destin......a daughter in Tempe (another in Galveston and another in Houston)........and a lot of time on my hands........

I thought that the txazfloridian was funny.........obviously I failed.....

The panhandle, in the past few decades had often been referred to as Lower Alabama, as Larry noted. At one point, even Florida Magazine questioned the panhandle's status.

My accent is not as heavy as those in this film, but I have been told you can hear the European in my Carolinian. (And I have been in Texas for decades, now.)
