Yeah but like some music... it sounds great, but...... "What'd he say"???

The plate guy on my HS play-off crew was from Alabama (and a cop to boot).
A couple of times I thought I was going to have to translate for him.

I have a fairly thick accent......Texas is kinda like Fl. It depends on where you are from........East Texas is way different than West Texas.......the gulf coast has it's own twang.......the closer yout get to Beaumont......the closer you are to the La. accent.

On the Island......you have damn near everything.........that is why I love it.....

Bull****......

My dad was from Muleshoe Tx and my mother from Rockford Ill.

I can spot a west Tx accent and a northern Ill accent in a hearbeat.

Ever been to the Outer Banks of proper Carolina??? Where they talk Hoi Toide Brogue?

If not, here is a sample: YouTube - Carolina Outer Banks Brogue Vocabulary

My accent is not as heavy as those in this film, but I have been told you can hear the European in my Carolinian. (And I have been in Texas for decades, now.)

Can we block their IP range? I'll be glad to help with that...

I can't even read this forum anymore. All the "reported"s get left there, bumping old and completed threads to the top. Every one of the threads that show as "unread" are simply reported-bumps.

I'll come back when the problem is actually fixed.

I agree. Can we have the reported posts get deleted along with the posts where one of US says "reported?"

The other option is to have them open when the spam's there.

It would help, of course, if people would follow the guidelines and only report each spammer once.

Today, for example, "modelins" (or some such spammer) had posts in 8 threads. 4 of them were reported. One would do.

And, you'll have to take complaints about "fixing" the problem to Brad. There's not much there I can do.

So, you want us to ignore the SPAM posts until we have finished reading all of the threads to make sure no one has already reported the spam? Maybe I'll just stop reporting the spam. Makes it easier for both of us.
