Plate Shoes
Help!!! My 15 year old son has just started umpiring and I need some help. He needs a pair of plate shoes....size 13. Haven't been able to find any. Anybody out there have an old pair they want to sell?

Take a look at Ump Attire withe the link below. They have size 13 in the 3N plate shoe EE width in stock if that helps.

I have a pair of +POS 13EE -- well worn, but beautifully spit-shined -- that I'll send you for the cost of shipping. But considering they may weigh ~8 pounds each, that might be cost a lot.

USPS has a flat rate box that they should find within, I think would be around $15

My dad used to work at a shipyard. He wore woodenshoe's (klompen). Many make boats out of them. Don't you have any docks over-there for the reverse process?

Congratulations on having your son join you in fun on the diamond. MTD, Jr., started when he was a senior (18 years old) in H.S. and is now 21. His feet had stopped growing by then and he too wore size 13s. He wears the New Balance mid-high plate shoes.

Junior got his shoes at: referee, umpire, supplies, equipment, basketball, football, baseball, shirts, shoes, accessories, athletic, price, quality, face masks, whistles, officials, sports. Tell Torch I sent you. No, I do not get a kick back. Torch is the Florida distributor for Joe DeRosa (retired NBA official) and ownr of Purchase Officials (Purchase Officials Supplies). Either place should have a size 13 in stock and the price will be reasonable.
