Season Final Varsity game
I had the plate for the season H.S. final.
IT turned out to be a pitching constest. Going into the top of the 7th I asked the visiting HC if he brought camping gear as it looked like we might be staying for a while. He said he thought about calling his wife to bring the camper. We had a good laugh and the game continued. Going into the bottom of the 7th the 1st batter up (a senior taking her possible last bat), takes the first pitch for a ball. The second for a foul. Takes the third pitch downtown for a walk-off home run! The HC said that the girl had never hit one before.
