okay, no pranks, but this was my april 1st like weirdness. after many rainouts, my first couple of games were rather uneventful.

at the end of one game, I reach into my ball bag, only to pull out a completely clean unused ball, and realize I forgot to rotate the ball in between the first inning. how did I go a whole game on one ball? it was completely unused, so I guess I saved the home team $5.

as I was leaving the field, a guy comes up to shake my hand, and congratulates me for a great game. :confused: took me by complete surprise as to who he was, so I asked, are you coaching, or teacher or an administrator? he said, no, that's my daughter over there, she plays second, and points to F4 of the losing visiting team walking off the field. so I thanked him. I drove home wondering why everyone was so nice.
