Well...it is high in fat and other things not necessarily good for you, it is made of who knows what animal parts, and well.....other than that, I can think of nothing.

The rat meat is fine, its the sodium....

I don't know why I feel compelled to defend SPAM... maybe it's because the Hormel plant that makes it is in MN. Anyway, SPAM contains no random animal parts or meat byproducts. Its ingredients are pretty simple:

• Pork shoulder meat
• Ham
• Salt
• Water
• Sugar
• Sodium nitrite

It is high in fat and salt, but the meat itself is regular pork meat, nothing mysterious.

Exactly. The rat meat gives it that special taste zing but the sodium is what will kill you. :D
