Not that floo-floo oui oui gei sounding french. but that's just my opinion.
Sunday I encountered a first base coach who had a weird accent...knew he wasn't from around here, but it wasn't clear...turns out he grew up in Houma, and even though he's been away a long time, he still has a good portion of what my some of my Okie friends call "French Arcadian," especially on certain words...like "hey bleuuu she pullerfut."

And what can I say to someone who is a fan of the Fighting Blue Hens of Delaware.

If you're not nicer to us Californians we will send the mothership to zap you....

Oh, No!!! I thought former Governor Moonbeam was restricted to CA and we don't let Feinstein past DC. Bonzo is dead, so that only leaves the Terminator!

Even when they do, you still can't understand without practice. Many, many years ago when DD was playing for a travel team out of Mandeville LA, we ended up at the ASA Regionals in OKC along with the Hurricanes from Lafayette. A coach from Tennessee came to get me to translate for him.
