In perusing the posts today, I see reference to many Blues not calling non ASA tournaments so as to not jeapordize their chance to get a National ASA Tournament. Is this a mandate from ASA? If it is, I guess I better back out of the National ASA Tournament that I have been assigned as I will have only called one ASA tournament this year before the National...

No, it is not a mandate from ASA. However, I do believe you should be more involved than a single ASA tournament the year you are going to a National, if at all possible.

I would love to, but there have been no ASA Tournaments within my District. 2 FAST, 3 AFA, 2 NSA, & 1 USSSA. The closest ASA tounaments are 150 miles away, and no one has called...

Yeah, I think that would fall under "special circumstances" should the issue ever be raised.
