To be honest, I do not make it a habit to talk to someone in the stands, by any means. This man was keeping the book, so when he had a question about batting out of order, of course, I had to talk to him. Then, I guess he preceded to use that to get me to pay him attention the whole time. I caught on to that move, and ignored him. He would YELL... and I DO mean YELL... BLUE, BLUE BLUE!!!!! at the top of his lungs. There was one time, when I told him that if I heard one more word from him, he would have to leave. He shut up then. I dont doubt that he knows more than I do about the rules. I never pretended to be a 'rule book thumper'. But, I also am not gonna let someone in the stands make a call for me, even if I do end up being wrong. I understand now that one person in each coaching box, at a time. No problem.
