Some putz on MSNBC's Olympic Review just noted that Team USA was beating Venezuela, that the IOC stopped the game. No mention of the fact that is a rule, not an IOC decision.

Also commented that because the USA is so good, that is the sole reason that softball has been dropped from the Olympics.

Not that I'm surprised a news reporting business misrepresented the situation by an announcer who obviously has no idea of what she is talking about, but apparently really doesn't care that she has no idea, why should that stop her from reporting it as fact.

Tiki Barber should reach over and smack the hell out of her. But, then again, he probably doesn't know any better, either.
