Best invention in the world

...next to frothy beverages, of course.

I'm sure some of you fall into the same category as I do on this one. I hustle a lot on the field (a good reputation to have), and as a result, at the end of calling 3 SP games a night, I get shin splints. They hurt like hell, but I've got this absolute lifesaver at home. Stop your snickering and get your minds out of the gutter, guys. This one's for real.

Homedics makes this massager that is simply awesome. It's a percussion massager that looks kind of like an alien's head with two egg shell nubs at the head. Believe me when I tell you this thing is worth its weight in gold. I came home tonight, and my left shin was just killing me. 5 minutes of using this thing, and the pain was absolutely gone. I've had other muscle injuries as well, and it's worked them out, too (when massage therapists couldn't even work them out).

They're only about $30 or so, and they've got a few models. For an extra $10-15, you can get the one with heat. I've got the basic one, and that works extremely well for me. You can use them on your back, legs, neck, even your feet. Bedroom applications, however, are not recommended. No, I haven't tried.

Amazon has one for $30 here. The one with heat is here. You can also find them at Walmart, Target, etc.

Just thought I'd pass this godsend along to everyone. TRUST me. It's worth it, especially considering how cheap it is.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Somebody certainly has a sense of humor calling a massaging "heads pulse" device a "HoMedic" (no, I didn't make that up).

Think somebody has - check this review by a 'Vivian' - -

This massager is excellent!! I've used similar ones at high end stores and have alway wanted one but couldn't afford it - HoMedics & Amazon offer it at a very reasonable price and the results...wwwoooonnnnddddeerrrfffuuullll!! I've already sold 2 more to my friends who tried mine when I received it. Enjoy!!
