For years I have used, and been extremely pleased with the Fechheimer Combo Pants. I learned just today that Fechheimer has seen fit to quit production of this product for reasons unknown. Talking with Dave at Lester's Upstate Sports, he recommended the Cliff Keen combos, stating that they were almost exactly like the Fechheimer's. What I am curious about is have any of you used both Fech's and Keen's, and what are your opinions about both? Do the Keen's hold up as well and look as good as the Fech's? I am also wanting to hear the opinions of diehard Keen users. What is it that you like about their pants? Would you consider switching...etc.? I am going through much anxiety at having to change from a product that I have come to trust to one I know little about.

Thanks in advance folk!

Scott

I'm heading into the second season of using the CK combos and have no complaints at all. Well, maybe one complaint - I swear that the waist shrunk over the winter. Anyway, they wear well, hold their crease nicely, and look pretty good. I am surprised that Fech won't be making their's anymore - they always used to be the best on the market. I do not think that you will notice any real difference between the CK and the Fech pants.

Well...I have about decided to give the Keens a try. I agree that Fech made the best around, but without them being available I either would have to switch over to base and plate pants or try another combo.

As for the pants shrinking over the winter, mine do that every year.
