Wade, this shall be my last reference, as you are definiely not happy with the proposal, that much I gather.
But may I just say, without prejudice, that the above remark is exactly why we have little chance of getting 'Softball Back Into the Olympics'
Ofcourse I hold no argument in saying that Great Britain is great at Softball, but we have a Grassroot Development Plan and a National Academy that hopefully oneday will bear fruit.
Secondly we may not be good, but fellow European Countries such as Holland, Italy & Czech Rep are very good. Also Softball is played in many of the ESF countries.
Lastly - ISF is run by some very fine American people who stand in the 'Hall of Fame' ~ ESF is the European entity
Good Bye

Wow

Why don't we let the pitcher stand on her head, do two back flips, and whistle Dixie while we at it? We can call it USSSA. Thank the softball gods this does't stand a snowballs chance in Hades of passing.

Nope, won't work for ASA. Cannot whislte another association's tune while participating in Championship Play.

While the rule change as Spencer posted may not get approved, it wouldn't surprise me if parts of it were not totally dismissed by ISF. Unlike the sanctioning bodies in this country, the international softball community is a little more open minded about the game.
