Yup, that's what I meant. But, like I said - selling that R1 was injured enough that you needed to kill the play is going to cause some "discussions".

OK, good question - yeah BR is affected by the obstruction & does get the base you think she'd have gotten without R1 being obstructed.

It doesn't need to be addressed. R2 can't pass R1. Period. R2 should have stopped. Coach should have been yelling at R2 to stop. There's nothing to remedy here other than poor baserunning.

If R2 stops, the umpires can easily award both runners home due to the OBS.
